Jesse Stone Creatchman is a Canadian singer-songwriter. He’s a raw talent with a distinct voice and he is an engaging performer. His debut album Break Of Day features “an impressive who’s who of Montreal musicians,” notably drummer Josh Trager (Sam Roberts Band) and showcases “Stone’s poetic lyrical prowess and expansive stylistic range.” [Montreal Gazette]. “Break of Day is the perfect album for anyone looking for a unique take on the rock and country genres.” [Bucketlist Montreal]. The album’s single, Fisherman, was translated to Portuguese and recorded by Brazilian folk artist Allison Lima [Universal Music Group]. In 2015, Carlos Marcos of El Dominical Magazine (Madrid) wrote “Jesse Stone, the forthright Canadian, only 25 years old, has recorded one of the best debuts of recent history.”

In November 2019, just months before lockdown, Stone opened for Jack Broadbent at Montreal’s L’Astral venue. It was there that Stone caught the attention of Juno Award-winning blues singer Dawn Tyler Watson. Watson recruited Stone for a (presumably) once in a lifetime gig to perform at the opening ceremonies of the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia. Juno-Award-nominee Angel Forrest and Juno Award-nominated Canadian rock singer, Jonas Tomalty were along for the trip as well. His upcoming album, COUNTRY FOLK ROCK AND ROLL is slated for release in 2021. CFRR features a plethora of local and international talent, including guitarists Jack Broadbent, Rene Dlamuerte (The Brains), Justin Saladino, Dwane Dixon, bassist Morgan Moore (Barr Brothers), violinist Steeve Poirier (Eric Lapointe), trombonist Raymond James Mason (Bruno Mars - Uptown Funk) and many others.
