New spin on the country folk and rock genre.

Jesse Stone is a Canadian singer / songwriter from Montreal, Canada. His style is Alternative Folk Rock. For his raw musicianship, his lyrical compositions, and his show-stopping performances, he is often likened to American songwriters such as Tom Petty, Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen.

In 2015, Stone released his debut album BREAK OF DAY and moved to New York City where he met Brazilian country artist ALLISON LIMA. In 2017, Allison signed with UNIVERSAL MUSIC GROUP and released a cover of Stone’s song FISHERMAN (re-titled S.O.S.) under the label.

Between 2017 and 2018, Jesse toured regular throughout Ontario and Quebec while recording his follow-up album with artist/producer Seb Black at Emery Street Studio. The album is currently set for a 2019 release.

Jesse grew up in the 90’s exposed to classic rock and alternative radio. His tight-nit extended family has always had a love affair with rock and roll. His uncle gave him his first guitar at the age of 12. He spent his seminal years learning Green Day songs, campfire music, writing and performing in high school with his brother. In terms of Canadian music, he spun Neil Young’s Harvest Moon, Blue Rodeo’s 5 Days In July, and Crash Test Dummies’s Ghost That Haunt Me, more than anything.
